OPINION is an international network of researchers collaborating to develop and integrate conceptual foundations, computational measurement strategies, and research agendas for the study of textual expressions of evaluative opinions.
As a concerted effort to address one of the key challenges in the study of digital textual data, OPINION advances a trans-disciplinary, multilingual, culturally sensitive, and collaborative approach to studying opinionated communication.
OPINION unites more than 200 researchers across 40+ European countries and beyond, comprising both computational and non-computational scholars from all across the social sciences, the humanities, computer science and artificial intelligence.
COST (European Cooperation in Science and Technology) is a funding agency for research and innovation networks. Our Actions help connect research initiatives across Europe and enable scientists to grow their ideas by sharing them with their peers. This boosts their research, career and innovation.
